When my six-year-old niece arrived at my folks' house for Thanksgiving, she immediately rushed over to DJ to his HUGE delight. She gave him his bottle, and then the three of us settled down on the floor for playtime.
A little while later, she got up and scampered away for something, and DJ started crying hard even though I was RIGHT THERE.
And so it begins.
Awww, you poor dear. I'm afraid our boys are going to break our hearts over and over again...
ReplyDeleteIsaac LOVES other babies. He will shriek and flap his arms up and down if he gets close enough to touch one, haha. He may also be a fan of pulling their hair to bring their faces in for a nice chomp...er, baby kiss.
Haha, the same thing happens to me. Mac LOVES his cousins - any "little people" up to about age 14 and he's mesmerized by them. Luckily he hasn't started too much separation crying yet but at least now i know what I have to look forward too!
ReplyDeleteMaggie loves her cousins so much and will watch my nephew Jackson (3.5 yrs) jump around and act like a doofus for hours.
ReplyDeleteOh DJ! You're a cruel one! I'm sure he'll forget about her soon, though...Or is he still pining?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Penelope did the same thing with her Aunt Lori. :)
ReplyDeleteSweetie breaking hearts already. Mom is so old school when the young ladies are about to impress and woo. Hopefully he goes back to being mama's boy for a good long while.
ReplyDeleteBoys do love playmates.... :-)
